I was very worried about this because of reviews. This stand is awesome! It was not hard to put together. Just follow directions. All the parts are labeled. The lights are bright with remote and app ..and can be adjusted. The "black" is not just a flat black.. it has wood grain character that you cannot see in the pictures shown. It's a nice stand for the price!

Although all the holes are hard to navigate it was easy to put together and looks very nice.

Adore all the storage this added to my living room! There is a little flaw in that the power strip should really have a USB plug inside the cabinet for the led's, instead you have to run the LED USB power cable outside the cabinet to use them, but other than that it's great.

A bit difficult to assemble for one person and the spring loaded openings are a little stiff, but I’m sure they’ll wear down in time otherwise overall pretty decent
